Dark Souls Full 2013 Tribute

12/09/12:

Once again, I've been drawing fan art in between jobs. This piece was inspired by From Software RPG "Dark Souls" and its bizarre ambiance and designs.

The difficulty is also very high so that each progress fills the gamer's pride. Like here for example, that boss took me so long and the fight was so intense that one day this sketch popped out and you see here the ink rendering and some basic levels on photoshop.

-Note for gamers: That is my NG so I was just wearing the mailset with base Drakesword and Knight Shield-

Part 2 :
01/21/13:

Here are one more Inkwork that I drew as FanArt for DarkSouls.

That first one was done right after that first meeting with the giant crow (visible in the Game trailer). I was trying to convey the strangeness of the moment ...

And the 2 latest in which I put great work in mood rendering in the use of my lines.

Casino Royale (Book front Cover)

An attempt at the novel cover by Ian Fleming.

For some reason, none of the published collections never really quite satisfied the fan in me.

This Artwork will be part of an article analyzing and deciphering the very first of Bond's adventure to be published @:

You can also find the reboot character cast from Casino Royale the Novel @:

Harley & Joker Commission

Colors by Ryan Mitchell

Having focused lately on my linework for comic book design, I was looking for colorists to try to give some more life in my drawings that wouldn't be all my own.

My first collaboration with Ryan Mitchell. I did the linework for this commission and needed some colors done. I am really glad he could do it and that he did it so well.

Spawn (90s look) Tribute

A quick rough inks on a commission for a friend. I went for the 90s look that the character had in the beginning or the HBO animation series.

I shall join a cleaned up version shortly, as well as the original sketch.

Here is a quick rough colour pass:

Spawn character is trademark and copyrights to creator/Artist Todd McFarlane. This is just fanArt.

Red Dead Redemption (Non official) Tribute

Very impressed with Rockstar Games version of a Wild West in their Red Dead Redemption video game which I had the chance to enjoy  a few months ago, I felt like doing sumthin'. Although the Bounty Hunting was certainly my least favourite activity in the game it was certainly for me the easiest one to set up.

Now 2 things, I have been a western fan since I was little for one. And I have grown a fairly big admiration for the coherence and style of storytelling proper to Rockstar Games style as well as a fan of the first opus Red Dead Revolver.

A little tribute from my modest corner of the West. This version is all drawn and inked manually.
And I should have a color version very soon.
